Grounded in Research. Guided by Experience.

Our cross-disciplinary Advisory Board brings together leaders in psychology, community, and sports to evaluate and shape the future of Real Play.

To ensure our field observations and ecological methods meet the highest standards of developmental validity, safety, and athlete-development rigor, our initiatives are guided by a cross-disciplinary Advisory Board. The board reviews observational frameworks, advises on physical and psychological resilience, and evaluates findings generated across pilot cohorts.

Leaders in Psychology

Including Dr. David Cox (Clinical & Performance Psychologist), advising on self-regulation, developmental resilience, and behavioral evaluation.

Leaders in Community

Advising on family engagement, school integration, and accessible community-wide pilot expansion.

Leaders in Sports

Advising on long-term athletic development, ecological motor learning, and restoring the unstructured play base that builds dynamic athletes.

Mission & Guidance

Our Advisory Board serves as the vital bridge between academic theory and the raw, unfiltered reality of play. By integrating diverse perspectives across psychology, community, and athletics, we ensure that every Wild Child initiative remains rigorously grounded in research while staying true to the unpredictable, high-agency spirit of real-world play. This guidance allows us to scale our impact safely, ethically, and effectively, protecting the integrity of childhood exploration for every participant.
